Blocked Drain Causes Damage to Basement

This family came home to their Linthicum home after a heavy rainstorm and found that the drain by their basement steps had been clogged by debris forcing the heavy rainfall to flow in under the door. We got over 2 inches of rain that afternoon and the mess they walked into was incredible.

The entire basement area was flooded, and the laminate flooring had water squirting out from under when you stepped on it.
